D'ran (Dahrent)Name Pronounced: d ran (da h rent) Appearance: Dahrent is a large boy for his age already standing a good 5’9 or 10 with no signs of stopping growing yet he isn’t going to be short by any means. His past four turns as a smith have done a great deal for his physical shape and he is now rather filled out when it come to muscles looking very much like the smith he has been. He is in short showing signs of being a rather tall ‘brick wall’ once he is fully grown in a couple more turns. His skin is naturally a darker colour that on terra would be the lighter side for a black person. His hair is dark as well though weather to call it a very dark brown or if it is somehow a light black isn’t something that is entirely decidable, but it doesn’t much matter as he keeps the naturally wavy mass cut to no longer then the tops of his ears. His eyes are a clear light blue and the only think on him or about him that could be called ‘light’ in any real way. Personality: Dahrent is well in the opinion of several of the other smiths a ‘Bastard’ or a ‘Son of a Tunnelsnake’, but he doesn’t and has never cared what they had to say. He can’t help it if /they/ don’t know women don’t belong as smiths, don’t belong on fighting dragons, really should just stay in the kitchens and laundry and out of his way. Now can he? He also can’t help it if they don’t know better then to hit on a proper male /and/ a brownrider’s son now can he? No he can’t help either of those things so he can’t help if he is called bastard or son of a tunnelsnake, though they both tend to annoy him all the same. After all his mother is a proper Fort woman and he knows quite well who his father was thank you very much even if he never met Y’tov. History: Born three turns into the start of the pass on the tenth day of the twelth month Dahrent was the last of the children sired by brownrider Y’tov before he was taken by thread and sadly never got to see his last son born. Without Y’tov there to name him Faren did her best to try and give the boy a ‘manly’ name and it wasn’t until later that she realized how it could be taken apart for a nickname. Information about D'ran (Dahrent)'s pets Pet Name: Green Pet Type: Green Firelizard Appearance: Egg – Burnt Sun Egg: This egg is small, not just normal small either, but very very small even for a wild green’s egg. It is small enough to be able to convince someone that it contains a ‘miniature’ flit by a rather shady salesman. It is a rather pale yellow on the top that fades to a burnt sort of orange at the bottom of it. Over all a bit of an odd egg, but well it will be a bronze so who cares right? Personality: She is a sweet little green though despite her physical problems. Loving, affectionate, and always willing to please her pet even if he isn’t as sweet to her. She knows her pet loves her even if he never tells her as much. She likes moving around on the ground and while she isn’t always as fast at delivering messages and things because she can’t fly properly she practices betweening a lot to make up for it and uses that to her advantage. She is actually rather good at adapting to things do to having to practice so much from the very day she hatched so she is better at reasoning than many of her colour mates, but more in her ability to say figure out different ways to do things than anything. Information about D'ran (Dahrent)'s dragon Dragon Name: Shahrath Colour: Green Age: 3 Wing (Weyrling Group): Skystrikers Appearance: Egg - Sand Covered Egg: The Sand Covered Egg is an unassuming egg, quiet and demure, tucked to one side of Wendeth’s clutch. It has the look of an egg that’s been rolled enough times that its original coloring has been lost under a layer of clinging sand. Either that or the shell itself resembles the sands upon which it rests, an illusion so realistic one could almost imagine touching the egg and feeling the grit. Either way, it seems blend into the sands themselves, nearly invisible against the backdrop of its more flamboyant siblings. Personality: On the surface, Shahrath is quite the proper lady - quiet and demure, pleasant and polite. But underneath that calm exterior is a clever mind and a fiery spirit. She’s an ardent defender of that which is fair and honorable, and of that which she love, even to the extent of risking her own life and wing. Fierce she can be, but her weapons of choice are not tooth and claw, but cunning and wit.
